The first stable version of SBWin 3.0, the SEGA Genesis (Megadrive) ROM converter, has been pushed back.
Originally, SBWin v3.0 Stable was set to be released directly after 3.0 Release Candidate 1 (RC1). Due to a number of changes after the current release, it has been pushed back until after the next release (RC2).
RC2 will offer a number of vital changes to the overall program. A few things were removed, some were reworked, and a number of features were added to make the software as usable as possible. RC2 should be released by the end of this month. Below is a sneak peek of the new UI changes that will be present in RC2 and 3.0 Stable:
Notice that the file information bar content was merged with the status bar, so now there is only one bar at the bottom. Also, the status bar was simplified and tweaked. There are a number of other minor changes to the UI such as the label placement. Keep a look out for RC2 coming soon!
