The first stable version of SBWin 3.0, the SEGA Genesis/Megadrive ROM converter, is now available and can be downloaded here. Expect a number of improvements in speed and performance (compared to 3.0 RC2). Some Highlights in this version:
- 32x files can now be opened
- Multi Game Doctor extension used when converting is now “.mgd;” this extension is more common for the format than the previous “.md.”
- Overall user interface is quicker
- Other minor and major bugs corrected
Please note that upgrading from RC2 (or earlier) is not supported in this version. In fact, if the previous version is not completely removed, it may cause the program to not operate correctly. Make sure to uninstall RC2 or older versions before installing 3.0.
